Safety Inspection

As an authorized inspection station for the Ontario Ministry of Transportation, our role is to conduct safety inspections on various types of vehicles to ensure they meet the safety standards set by the Ministry. These safety inspections are an essential part of ensuring the safety of Ontario’s roads and highways, and they help prevent accidents caused by faulty vehicles.

Our inspection station is authorized by the Ministry to inspect a range of vehicles, including cars, trucks, buses, and trailers. We take our role very seriously and are committed to conducting thorough inspections that meet or exceed the Ministry’s safety standards. We have a team of qualified inspectors who are trained to identify potential safety issues and provide recommendations for repairs or maintenance as needed.

The Ontario Ministry of Transportation safety inspection is a comprehensive inspection that covers various safety aspects of the vehicle, including brakes, steering, suspension, lighting, and tires, among others. The inspection process involves a series of tests and checks, and the vehicle must pass each of them to be considered roadworthy.

During the inspection, we use specialized equipment to check the brakes, suspension, steering, and other critical components. We also examine the vehicle’s lighting system to ensure it is functioning correctly, including headlights, taillights, brake lights, turn signals, and hazard lights. Additionally, we inspect the tires to ensure they are in good condition and properly inflated.

If we identify any safety issues during the inspection, we provide a detailed report to the vehicle owner, outlining the necessary repairs or maintenance required to bring the vehicle up to the required safety standards. It is the responsibility of the vehicle owner to have these repairs done and to return the vehicle for a re-inspection.
